The wedding reception was ending late in the evening so they decided to stay overnight at their parents’ home and leave for their honeymoon the following day.
Their mother was anxious to know if they were having a good time on the first night with their new husbands, she listened through their doors what was happening.
The older daughter and the groom were making noises and the mother was happy.
The younger one and her new husband were very quiet so this made the mother worry.
The following morning she asked the couples how their first night was and the older daughter said they had fun.
The younger daughter didn’t say anything so the mother said, “You were awfully quiet last night. Is everything okay?” The daughter replied, “Mom, you taught us not to talk when our mouths are full!”
